While I am a massive fan of swishy summer dresses, there is always a special place in my heart for winter fashion. Black stockings with knee-high boots! Chunky jumpers! Winter coats!! So good. That said, there does come a time in the depths of winter where it’s very hard to get inspired when you feel like you’ve been living in black forever. Let’s get ahead of the winter slump and find some winter fashion early!
Always Audrey
Audrey Hepburn will always be one of my favourite fashion icons. I love her all black, high-waisted trousers and loafers combo. Warm, simple and everlastingly classic. I’m planning on wearing my version of this with a turtleneck top and a bold red lip. Also sparkly drop earrings because why not!
Kate for coats
Kate Middleton will always have the last word in coats, for me. Rarely is there a coat she wears that I don’t love. They are also so delightfully classic but also fun with bright colours and little details. While I can’t splash the cash on Alexander McQueen, I am excited to wear my new raspberry-red coat with absolutely everything this winter.
